Ajahn Sudanto is the senior monk at the Pacific Hermitage in White Salmon. He is an adherent of Theravada Buddhism - in his words, they are "short on theology, long on renunciation". Sudanto has vowed to abstain from cooking or storing food; he eats only once each day, and only if he is offered food on that day. Come learn about this unusual element of our local religious community.
