Weddings
Getting to walk alongside couples as they marry is one of ministry's true joys. Before every wedding, the couple completes a Prepare-Enrich assessment, which opens the door to deeper conversations about the commitments they're making and helps lay groundwork for a lasting, healthy marriage.
Memorial Services and Celebrations of Life
Even now, as more weddings are led by friends or family and children are born and raised outside any faith community, memorial services remain a moment when people still seek out clergy — even those with no church ties of their own. For many, a memorial service becomes their first encounter with Unitarian Universalism.
Child Dedications and Coming of Age Ceremonies
Children of all ages are dedicated, instead of baptized, in a ritual that formally welcomes them into our covenantal community. Witnessing and supporting major milestones in a child’s or young adult’s life encourages our children to embrace transformation as they evolve into greater versions of themselves.
