Social Justice Council

Our Social Justice Council meets on Fourth Sundays from 12-2 pm in person at the Rockford Grange and online via ZOOM. Currently, there are four subcommittees focused on Sustainability, Climate Justice, Immigration and Democracy + Voting. Each subcommittee is responsible for developing plans for moving their initiatives forward. If there’s a topic you’re passionate about but don’t see it listed, there’s plenty of opportunity to bring new energy and direction. Just be ready to roll up you sleeves and lend a hand. All are welcome to attend.

Next meeting is the 4th Sunday in August, Aug. 23. (No meetings in June or July). Simply show up or contact Elaine Castles for more information.
