Social Justice Council

Our Social Justice Council meets on Fourth Sundays from 12-2 pm in person at the Rockford Grange and online via ZOOM. Currently, there are four subcommittees focused on Sustainability, Climate Justice, Immigration and Democracy + Voting. Each subcommittee is responsible for developing plans for moving their initiatives forward. If there’s a topic you’re passionate about but don’t see it listed, there’s plenty of opportunity to bring new energy and direction. Just be ready to roll up you sleeves and lend a hand. All are welcome to attend.

Next meeting is the 4th Sunday in September (9/27). (No meetings in June, July and August). Simply show up or contact Elaine Castles for more information.
