Join Elaine Castles, Bonnie Withers, Rev. Barbara, and the talented musical duo of Heart and Hammer as we gather after a busy summer to celebrate the return to school and the beginning of our new Fellowship year. During this very special service, will honor our connections with one another through our annual Water Communion Ceremony.
You are invited to bring a small vial of water from a place that is meaningful to you—your local irrigation ditch, a nearby lake or river, someplace that you have traveled during the year, or your own kitchen sink. We will then have an opportunity to share the personal significance of these waters as we join them in a common bowl. (And don’t worry—we will have extra water if you forget yours.)
This service is intentionally intergenerational, and we particularly invite our children to participate in the sharing of the waters. Water is truly the element that links us all together, so what better way to celebrate our connections with one another, our wider community, and our beautiful blue planet Earth.
